The STEPHENSON COUNTY ANTIQUE ENGINE CLUB, Inc. Home of the STOVER Line. proudly presents the 40th Annual OLD-FASHIONED THRESHING SHOW and ANTIQUE DISPLAY ( aka the Freeport Show )

NEW SHOW DATES Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Sept. 18,19 & 20 2009

Large & Small Steam Engines in operation, plus over 300 gas tractors. Belt driven dynamometer, Sawmill, Barrel Stave Mill, Shingle Mill, Flour Mill, Blacksmith Shop all running daily. Threshing with Steam Engines and gas tractors. Gas Engines, farm machinery, Antique Cars and Trucks and Fire Engines including several Henney and Stephens cars built here in Freeport.

Large display building(s) filled with vintage home furnishings, antiques, crafts, old time music, and farm miniatures.

Daily Parade at 1:00 P.M.

Midwest Championship Antique Tractor Pull with upwards of 170 tractors competing using 2 mechanical sleds Friday night @ 6P.M. and Saturday @ 4P.M. contact: Larry Cornelius @ (815)-864-2821

SILVER CREEK & STEPHENSON RAILROAD using HEISLER logging Locomotive offering 4 mile train rides Adults $6.00 Children under 12 $3.00

CIVIL WAR ENCAMPMENT at the Railroad Complex.

Silvercreek Museum across from the Railroad featuring 40 rooms of displays of local history including farming, businesses, railroad, etc. $3.00 admission, Children under 12 free.

120 Ton COOPER-CORLESS Stationary STEAM ENGINE with 26 foot 60 Ton Flywheel in operation daily behind the Museum building.

GOOD FOOD
Breakfast 7-9:30 A.M. Noon Meal 11 A.M.-1 P.M. plus Food Stands at several locations.

Sunday Church Service Non-denominational Service at 8:30 A.M.
