Tanner,
Do you have any information on this engine? I would be interested in the serial number and location and also any more pics. It is the only one I've seen with a water cooled plate on the exhaust valve chest.
Thanks, Bill

Hi Tanner
Looks like a nice engine. I would be interested in it if it's for sale.

Tanner, More photos would be great. Some of the water tank end. Does it have the original tank? If it is for sale or trade I would be interested in it also. I have some good stuff for trade like IHC screen cooled famous. I am working on getting more Witte Iron Works engines and do not have that size. Thanks for the photo. Nice Witte! Tanner if you get this make sure before you roll her over ALL 3 valves are free to move ,my Dad caught our 9hp hopper cooled with the gas valve stuck one day after sitting for a long time, luckily it didnt break the gas valve arm.If it has marks stamped on the ingnitor side flywheel that look factory ,it is after Feb1st 1910 I have a manual for these that was with ours and it states that after that date they are marked from the factory, they found it in the General store papers ,it was used for a sorgum press all of its life.

To everyone who wants the engine, Tanners post is 6 1/2 years old. Currently Joel Mosley is helping the owner in WA get the engine fixed up. It needs the fuel system.
Here is a new pic.
