Hello from Surrey, B.C. Canada
Hi there just joined up and I'm also new to old tractors too.
I have built lots of old cars and engines over the years, and just bought a old Ground Hog garden tractor. The guy told me he thinks it from the 40's and built from a variety of parts. It came with a plow, a set of discs, a set of cultivaters and a harrow. Anybody have any info on these? I'm looking forward to working on this little gem, going to drain all the fluids and replace them today. Here is a couple of shots of it, if the upload goes ok.

Welkom on board from the Netherlands.
 We had one of our family (aunt and uncle) farms in Surrey B.C. The Van Eeden farm. This farm was used also in a movie about a Diary Princes that was murderd. Can not remember her name fast but she played also in the serie Cheers with Ted Denson. It was laying right across the fam. Jensens farm (a gigantic cow farm). My Uncle Piet van Eeden past away many years ago. Only my Aunt still lives there in a senior center. Wonderful place Surrey and nice people. A nice little garden tractor you have there.  Greatings. Welcome to the Stak !! I'm in Kamloops. I got into hit and miss engines about three years ago. Got completely hooked !! Started with a 3 HP International M......now I have 9 up to 17 HP. You'll enjoy this site.....lots of very knowledgeable guys. Enjoy !!

Hi Dan, the friend is Al Christopherson on Easy St. He drives a 1949 Ford shoebox most of the time till the weather gets nasty.
