I have a JD Model E that was apart when I bought it, and I'm having trouble getting the igniter to work. The way I have it put together, the points stay closed all of the time. When the trip finger pushes and trips, nothing happens. Should the points always be closed, and how are they opened to spark? Maybe I have a spring on wrong.
Any help is appreciated. Bob ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors ----- machineryman@direcway.com |
