Default New 59 Year Old Saw

Here are a couple pictures of one of my recently restored Disston DA211's...New seals, crank bearings, coils etc and some mild porting....The 62" bar and was custom made by Gem Chainbar in Portland and it has a 3/4 pitch .122 ga. chain.
I was also able to adapt one of Rick's off the shelf sprockets..It will be a shame to get it dirty but that is what its for....
PS.. I found the proper plug number on another site and crossed the Champion number J6J to NGK B6S..
I also found somthing interesting when it was torn apart...It seems the pistons in the Disston engines had the ring end locator pin installed vetically which I thought was odd..lines up all the ring end gaps the same and the pins were almost always gone...On the other hand...all the Mercurys have the pins horizontally and they are staggered...Just thought I would share..Dave
