Default New to owning an Onan Generator

We found the leak and started pulling it to bit at a show we are at this weekend, the 6 bolts that hold the generator to the engine had come lose, problem is we had to strip the geny out to get to the bolds, we decided to clean up the connections and put new brushes in at the same time, we are going to put it back together tomorrow, the public seam to like watching us work anyway

mick,
Looks to be in good condition. Surprised to see the unsealed end bearing.

Well, we got her running, but only seamed to be firing on one cylinder, the other one cut in from time to time, changed the plug, took the head off and but that was all fine, could be a lead breaking down or one of the magneto halfs. The good thing was that we got the generator part work with the new brushes and cured the oil leak.

Looking at that spinning thing as it was running and the mans coat I kept thinking what if it got caught up in that.
