Default MacFadden 's Year End Auction

Anyone planning on attending this auction? It's on US Route 20, 4 miles east of Sharon Springs, New York. Would be interested in seeing what the antique tractors bring.

CJ Winslow and I went down. Lots of people there but I figger as many stayed home becouse of the weather. We wanted to see the ficticious Rumely that was supposed to be there. Anybody who has been to McFaddens knows that the auction is not the highlight. The many acres of tractor parts is the real show. A Cleveland "the General" tractor sold for 2250, an IHCM 1.5hp understrike, stuck and missing the fuel pump plunger sold for 450, a nice feed mill sold for 325, etc. Many tractors and implements. Prices seemed high. There were several nice vintage tractors there, not part of the auction, including a Buffalo steam roller, McCormick 22-36, Cat 30, Cat 35's, etc.

I stand corrected, Bill......we left in early afternoon, and I didn't realize the older tractors WERE to be auctioned, as mentioned in the auction notice in your link.....Harvey
