Default A new (not-so-young) member from Western Australia

G'day to all,
I have been lurking around in the smoke and fumes for a while and thought I should make an appearance. I live in Perth, Western Australia and I am a self employed precision machinist who enjoys most things mechanical. I currently have a Lister CS 3/1, a Lister CS 3.5/1, a Petter PA2 and a B&S 8hp. I also enjoy motorcycles and have a 1978 Yamaha SR500, a 1985 Yamaha SRX600 and a much more modern 2010 Suzuki DRZ250 road/trail. I am sure that I will spend far too much time browsing these forums as there is such a wide variety of stuff and also some great and interesting people too. Congrats to the moderators and all the contributors that go to making this a terrific forum and source of information and place for sharing of ideas.
Cheers, neseng.

Here's a big "Howdy!" to you in Oz from the heart of the Redneck Riviera in northern Florida, U.S.A., home of the famous Hoyt-Clagwell & Co.

Take care - Elden

Welcome neseng!

Sounds like you came to the right place.

WA huh? Long way from here. It still amazes me at the reach of this media.

Looking forward to your post!

Welcome aboard.

As a precision Machinist, you should really enjoy the model forum showcasing the machining skills of some of the members on here. It is truely amazing what some of them can do. I spent 27 plus years as a production machinist, but some of these guys impress the hell out of me. Wish I would have worked with them instead of the motley crew that I put up with on a daily basis for more years than I care to remember.

And Yes.... This site can become addictive, but it's a great place to get your daily fix.
