Default FM Eclipse Engine

Attended a show during the October 25-26 weekend where a vendor had a Fairbanks Morse Eclipse # 1 engine all restored and for sale. The pump jack part was missing but the drive gears were on the engine. The vendor was asking $1050 for the engine. Was this a good price, to high, to low..? I didnot purchase the engine. Thanks for any pricing help.

Default Re: FM Eclipse Engine

Last year I purchased a FBM Eclipes #1 for $1000 all restored w/pumpjack base and gear and on a cart. Since then I have seen them sell for as much as $1700 w/out the pumpjack base & gear.
