Thumbs up New guy from CT

Hi everyone,

My name is Ralph. I'm 17 and I like working on old engines and tractors, particularly garden tractors. I currently own a 1964 Bolens 900 with a Wisconsin S-8D, a 1973 Sears ST16 with a Tecumseh OH160 that I am currently rebuilding, and a 1951 Briggs 5s, along with a couple other engines. I hope to learn a lot here!

Thanks, Ralph

Ralph, are you anywhere near Colchester? theres a show there, 3 times a year, at Zagray farm. Swap meet, too, always a lot of garden tractor, and engines. You just missed one, a couple of weeks ago. Next one is October 6-7. Check it out QVEA.org

Welcome from a fellow teenager! I'm 19 and LOVE hit and miss engines. Maybe I'll run into you at Kent or some other show. I'm in Western MA. I'm currently building a hit and miss powered tractor.

I'll definatley be at kent this year. I like hit and miss engines too, but I mostly stick to small air cooled because they are easier to find and are cheaper.
