...i have come across a "G.D. Thorndike Co. hit and miss engine (or sometimes called a "make and break" engine) with the manufacturer's location listed as Portland, Maine...Serial # - 106107. Since you are an expert at these things...what have i found, have you heard of Thorndikes, is it worth anything (it still runs)...what would you give for it, etc....thanks, I NEED HELP IN NASHVILLE!!! John.
