Another Type Of eBay Scam

Was checking out another message board [pertaining to tractors] when I came across this post about fake tractors on eBay. Apparently what is going on is, items that are listed state that you must be a preapproved buyer before you can bid. When you click on the link provided, you are asked your eBay name and password, which is later used by the scamers to sell stuff, or whatever, all under you name. Your don't know you are selling stuff until you check your items for sale page. According to the article, this has been going on quite a bit with Harley Davidson motorcycles. Supposedly, eBay has been catching up with them on this subject so they have branched out to other items. Have any of you Stackers come across any of these auctions?
