Your Stak name fits too as Hamilton used to have the Harvester plant!

Thanks! Did they make Loadstar trucks there? My '69 says Hamilton Canada on the VIN plate.

Not 100% sure on that - they seemed to work back and forth between Hamilton and Chatham. Noticed that on the Scouts, pickups, etc..

Most likely Chatham. My '48 one ton also has Hamilton on the plate, but it wasn't built there.

Hope you enjoy the discussions here, a pretty good bunch of folks.

Take care and have fun.

I just added a 1923 IHC type M 1 1/2HP engine to my collection. The old guy I got it from restored it about 20 years ago. I cleaned the points, made sure all the moving parts were free and oiled, put some gas in the little starting bowl on the carb and it fired right up and ran excellent! It has been painted green with red flywheels and red grease caps and has a nicely made skid under it. It has the Bosch magneto.

The M is a great engine. Easy to work with and once set up starts in a snap.

Looks like your gathering a real nice collection.
