Default Rumely Serial Number

My brother and I just purchased two Rumelys. He purchased a model G 20/40. I purchased a model K 12/20. Where would we find the serial numbers. We are new at all of this any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks folks.

RG,
Congratulations on getting the Rumelys - what a great pair of finds!
As for serial numbers, not sure on the old heavyweights but if they don't have the serial number tags on the cab-side of the fenders then they you may find a number on the end of the crankshaft on the flywheel side. The light weight Rumelys also usually have the numbers stamped on the front pedestals or axles but not sure about your heavyweights?
Best of luck with your tractors,
RM.

The 12-20 serial number is on a tag on the fender, and if it's not there then the serial number is stamped on the channel in front of the radiator.

Guess you know that there is a big Collection with Oil Pull's in your Village? Can't remember his name right now but i still have his Card laying around. If you need any technical advise there is also Chris Hudson from Grass Lake and you will find him here on the stak, BTW a nice fellow and i guess still single just in case

Well that is great info in all respects! I wasn't looking for my Rumely it found me. So I dont know about the folks in my town. I have been contacted by someone local because my rumely came with an attachment that goes down in the furrow when plowing. I don't know what that is called. He wants to buy or copy it. But I wouldn't sell it. Thank you for the info I'm sure my brother and I will need help.

Talking Re: Rumely Serial Number

It's a plow guide and well worth keeping.......
I'm pretty sure Chris will show up one of these days.......I'm surprised he hasn't already.......

Anyway........a big welcome to Stak and, as you said, when it comes to iron we ARE a big family.
Perhaps a little dysfunctional at times but still a family.......

Welcom to the Stack . Congrats on getting not one but two!! Very sought after tractors. Especially the little 12/20, nice little tractor and still a heavy weight. I have owned a 20/40 for 33 years and still enjoy it as much today as when I first got it.

This is awesome. I will join that club and I'm sure we will need parts. Casertractor, I tryed to add you as a friend I don't know if I did it right. I have never used one of these sights til two days ago. All of this is new to me. I grew up with hit and miss engines my brothers restored them, but I had never seen a rumely til Sunday. For me it went like this the sound of a Harley Davidson 3rd,a hit and miss engine 2nd, but there is nothing that sounds as good as a Rumely Oil Pull!! I think I got it bad.. How do you say it I have been bit..
