Default Hello from Canandaigua NY

Hello All,

I chanced upon this forum while searching for information related to my Chevy I6 250ci engine in my 1981 C-10. I liked the advice I read that others had posted, and knew I just had to join.

Anyway, I am working on bringing my C-10 into daily driver status. I bought it virtually from the original owner a year ago with 65K on it. I am sure that there are a whole lot of members here who know more about these older engines and vehicles than I (you know who you are), and I hope some of that knowledge will rub off on me as I work on my project.

BTW, I have previous experience rebuilding engines (I've done a complete blueprint restoration of a 1971 Dodge 383 B short-stroker, a complete rebuild of a 1979 Subaru 1611, and a top end rebuild on a 1972 Ford Pinto L4 2L). I imagine I will likely rebuild this one, too, unless I decide to repower the truck with something else, but I'll leave that discussion for another posting in the Antique Cars and Trucks section.

I'm happy to be here and I look forward to meeting other members.

Thanks,

Miranda

Welcome aboard from Marietta, NY. Not quite as close as Batavia, but not all that far either.
