Default Onan OT 225 Transfer switch

Hello,
This is my first post on this board. I installed a onan genset and transfer switch for a lady and I am having trouble with the transfer switch it is a J series. The source lights on the mother board will not light up, as well as the timming card. I am getting 27 volts out of the two transformers. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,

My first suggestion is that you post the full model and spec number of the generator and switch.

Ok,
The genset is a 45EM-V and the transfer switch is OT/ON-CT/CN OTIII 225, spec no. is 4935J, the serial no. is G930514846. The genset was originaly 120/208 three phase and I changed it to 120/240 single phase. I changed the selector switches on the mother board to single phase and rewired the two transformers and rewired the transformers connected to the mother board.

Were the set and switch used together previously? If so, were you able to verify proper operation of the switch before the reconfiguration?

Have you reset the cards for the new voltage.

I think so, it was taken out of a grocery store that had been damaged by a storm. It has been exposed to the weather for a couple of years, the genset runs fine. I sent the mother board and cards to be checked and they repaired the undervoltage cards and I still cann't get the lights to work on the cards.

Anyone got a copy of the service manual for an OTIII in PDF they can send him?

If it was 120/208 you should be good to go on the linear motor.

I have a installation manual, I have done the calibration, etc. It doesn't have a troubleshooting guide.

Just in case, I put a copy of the Service manual up on my web server and sent an email to clhowell01 with the URL to grab it. My copy runs 39 megabytes...

Do you have your AC connections going through contactor terminals A and B?

Have you recalibrated the cards?

Do you recall if you had to make a jumper (or possibly two) on the sensing transformers when rewiring? When going from three phase (factory built) to single phase (field modification), there aren't enough jumpers, unless there was an extra, unused one wire-tied to the bundle at the transformers.

This problem has me stumped. I am self-employed and I get to work on it here and there. I haven't had the time to go back there with the service manual in hand yet. I believe that its something simple that I am just overlooking.
