computer fixed

Hi guys, following advice from some of you fellers I got this critter working real good. First thing I did was get a new mouse, never realized a mouse could cause so many problems. Got one of those with the red light on it and it works great. No ball to gum up. Then I got a program from my ISP that they said they use to get rid of spyware. It found 307 unauthorized intrusions on my computer. WOW!! Good thing I don't use my credit or debit card across the net. It cleaned everything up and now my computer is no longer slow and jerky, runs like a new one. Sure is nice to have this thing working right again. Thanks to all who sent me advice. David.

Dave, How does one go about getting Rid of Spyware?

Hi Walt, I just followed the prompts the program gave me, I couldn't even begin to tell you how it actually does it. I'm kinda computer illiterate, so I need these automatic programs that do all the work. That's like the anti-virus program my ISP gave me, it detects viruses in my e-mail and takes care of it, I don't have to do anything. I can tell you, those friendly geeks at Frognet really know their job, are always polite and willing to help out, always improving the system. Great bunch of kids. David.

Hi guys, reckon since I got an e-mail berating me for insulting those kids by calling them geeks I'd better add this. "Friendliest geeks in the business" is their motto, as it says on their web page if you click below. When calling them they sometimes answer "Welcome to Frognet, friendliest geeks in the business". As I said, they are a great bunch of kids and I meant them no insult and didn't mean to offend anyone on here who is really into computers. It tickles me that with their knowledge they go out and get an honest job instead of sitting back and trying to figure out a virus to send to people just for kicks. And I really appreciate the way they can explain any problem I have in terms I can understand. Frognet is based in Athens, Ohio, a college town, and I assume the kids that work there are working their way thru college. I wish them the best of luck. David.
