I wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Retired USAF active duty officer. Now operating the family farm in Mi part time when not with my family in Dayton, Oh. I inherited my dad's hit and miss engines when he passed and don't know a lot about them. I would like to use on of the engines to run a pump jack on windmill I am restoring.

Welcome to the stak. Many farmers used an engine to fill water tanks when the wind was short. Bill K

Welcome to SMOKSTAK, Scott and thank you for your service.

If you look around, I'm sure you'll be able to find a useable pump jack. That and a little "shade tree engineering" and you should be gearing wet.

What part of MI? I have some land in Cheboygan. Just got back from a visit there and to Machinac Island. Welcome.
