It's basically a running gear set-up with an engine on it , and not a Victor tractor as shown in the B G(green) B. Got a photo of one coming by snail mail, but can't wait to ask if there are any out in engine land for sale. Would be interested in photos, literature, or any other information on them. Should be somewhere in the North East, near NJ, but, just might travel for the right item. Doesn't need to have an engine on it, but should be fairly complete. Just having fun on a nice spring weekend (at W O R K) ,thinking about a new project . Paul

The Victor Traction Gear Company was located in Loudonville, Ohio. I have an original copy of catalog #3, which is dated 1916. It states that it is the 3rd annual catalog. It also shows that a patent application was filed on May 13, 1913 and that the patent was awarded December 14, 1915 under patent number 1163822. There are LOTS of testimonials and pictures of tractors that people built by using the gearing and other parts that were purchased from Victor. I saw one of the tractors at Portland several years ago, and I met another man that owns one. Sorry Paul- if I ever find out that it comes up for sale, I'm going to try to buy it myself! (I've been patiently waiting for an opportunity to buy it for quite some time!!!)

Hi Paul, Sorry can`t help you out with any for sale but there`s some pics & info about them on the web. The running gear is kinda crude on them... Why not try building your own?

Rob: Spent most of my "BREAK" reviewing the French's trips to the U.S.A., the Portland shows and the other links to engine things. Thanks for the link. Paul , back at work on the third shift .
