Default Hello from North Carolina

My name is John and I'm located near Raleigh. I'm currently engineless but looking for a first engine to repair/restore. I'm leaning towards a Maytag, as they're seemingly in decent supply, though I'm open to your suggestions.

I love working on/restoring older machinery whether it be garden tractors or reloading equipment and hope to learn a lot from you all

John

There sure is a lot of information here. Would love to find a 92 or an upright to mess with, as I really want a small hit & miss to get my feet wet with.

Thanks
John

I started with maytags and still got some 92's and a twin. Sold my uprights. Got a washer on one of my 92's. They are neat at a show. Welcome to the stack. I live about an hour from Raliegh. Jamie
