Default Hello From Camp Hill Pennsylvania

Just wanted to say Hi! Always been interested in hit and miss engines, Maytag engines.... (I think I had most every model) steam engines, Antiques. Always went with my Dad to Williams Grove.in Mechanicsburg and any other steam show and flea market. I do have a question. I have a new Holland 1/2 scale of 1/2 HP my father owned. Has an R in the casting under hopper. Does that stand for the company that casted the model? Also thinking of selling it. Will be listing it in Enginaids.

I grew up around carlisle, worked at TRW on cameron street. Attended williams grove for many years. We may have crossed paths there at one time or another. skip

Hi Skip! I think I practicality lived at Williams Grove. Couldn't wait till summer came to hear the engines, smell the smoke and steam! My father was Marlin Emlet he always sold antiques at flea market stand next to Clyde Hershey do these names sound familiar?

Clyde and my dad were always beside each other. I think Clyde and his wife moved from Franklintown and moved to Fla.
