Default Little Oak Tractor

I am trying to find any and all information on a tractor made in the early teen called a Little Oak tractor. It was Made by Humber-Anderson of Minneapolis Mn and then by Willmar Tractor Company of Willmar Mn and the Humber-Anderson again.

I know of one tractor in Atwater MN but I would really love to find more.

Check out the web page below to an old ad photo of the tractor.

Thanks, Jon

Dear J I featured a Little Oak tractor picture in the "Yankees Attic" in "Antique Power Magazine" several years ago and the response was that it was the only one known to exist. Good luck in your quest. The Yankee Ed Bezanson

If you're close to a decent library, it's written up in the three ref books I've gone thru:
(1 and 2) Wendels Encyclopedia and his Standard Catalog, which have company thumbnails and some specs.
(3) I&T's Farm Tractors 1916-25 (it's Vol I of two; Vol II is 1926 to 60 or so). Beautiful books, heavy glossy stock (so heavy pages tend to separate from covers). No company history, just maker, pic, and specs, with a large number of beautifully reproduced old ads (all b/w).
Says engine was a Westman (one I don't recall seeing before) 4cyl, cast separately, 55/8x71/2, turning 600 rpm; rated 22-44.
The Std Cat says in 12-1916 "re-org again as Standard Tractor Company, Stillwater. Minn".

Superficial Googling of the Westman engine brings up a couple 1910 and 1913 mentions that they very successful in heavy ditchers and as marine engines ( as a low speed high torque engine); one said well suited to tractor work, but apparently used very little in tractors as doesn't appear in any of my old parts catalogs.

I think Ralf has the only one. I wish it were mine but he takes good care of it and lets other people enjoy it as well.
