Kohler engine in a Ford Lawn Tractor

Does anyone have any kind of specifications for one of these motors? I brought mine out after the winter & it is backfiring something fierce. The only thing on the motor is the Model 46696d. It is in an unknown year Ford LGT 100.

If this Ford is an older one, it might be one that was actually made by Jacobsen. Jacobsen made also Minneapolis moline, as well as Jacobsen tractors (maybe spelled Jacobson?)....anyhow...there is a Jacobson message board on Yahoo that has been a lot of help to me in the past...lot of tech stuff available from members there for these models Hope that helps....Bill In Indiana

All the above are of similar construction, and valve, point, and spark plug specs are going to be the same.
