Default stater with number rubbed out.

MT 28 6.5 diesel starter sold to me w/ part # rubbed out. Delco Remy Japan. It says...serial number: 99C02. Can anybody translate to either 1113295 or 1113296 which is what I was looking for. I made the mistake of asking on the phone what the number was and then they made me drive 30 min. too see that it had been conveniently rubbed out.
