Default Newbie from Michigan

Hey there. I joined the Stak in search of something. I am currently elbows deep in the build of a replica turn of the century motorcycle. I am taking styling cues from different bikes- when I see it and like it, i requisition it. I am hand fabbing everything that can be hand fabbed. The one thing that has stumped me is the power plant. Getting something authentic is a hobby only for the super rich. In searching for alternatives I have found quite a few engines amoung these pages that have "the look." So I am here in search of a powerplant for turn of the century motorcycle. I have wrenched my entire life, and built and rebuilt engines of all sizes and shapes, so I am not new to this hobby, just new to communicating over the internet about it.
