cork float

Default cork float

a friend of mine is working on a vertical cushman engine (probably a binder engine) the cork float in the carb is broken into and in rough shape. is any one making replacement floats or can any one make suggestions on making a new one. i thought i had seen some comments in smokestaks on reparing and sealing floats but cain't remember for sure. any help appreciated.

If a new one isn't to be found, you can glue it together and paint it over with a good quality fuel tank sealer. That will stabilize it. Kevin
