Default Stover/Novo Paint Matches

I know the correct color codes for a Stover and a Novo. The problem is that all I can find are the acrylic equivalents from DuPont and they are pretty high ($32/Quart for Novo and $43/Quart for Stover). Does anyone know of paints that would match close enough so that only an expert would be able to tell the difference? Thanks, Greg Ray

Sorry Greg. When you use spray cans, you're pretty much at the mercy of whatever you can find on the shelf....And most times it won't be "gas proof" and will wash off when you spill oil or fuel on it...even after it cures. Some of the engine enamels do very good, but that REALLY limits your color choice!......Just my two cents.
