According to Wendel's Notebook, the IHC Type M engines were Adirondack Green, du Pont #29609. The corresponding Ditzler number is 40496.

Some type M engines were red. I have a 3 h.p. Type M with understrike igniter that is factory red. I've been told that IH Farmall Red can be used for it, du Pont 2150, Ditzler 71310.
