Default Newbie from the Texas Hill Country

Just bought two throttle governed engines this week. Bought a Fairbanks ZD, and INternational LA. Got them both for $600.00, $200 for the ZD and $400.00 for the International. The ZD runs, and I think with a little work, the LA will run too.

I've been interested in old iron for a long time. When I was a child, we had a Fairbanks ZC that pumped water from the creek to a storage tank. That old engine always facinated me. By the time I was ten, we hadn't used it anymore, and one night it was stolen. So I guess my facination with old iron is a way to connect to older times.
