Does any one know the correct colors of the Oil City Boilers Works part of the engine. Also need to know color of the South Penn part of the engine. Thanks Ryan

Ryan,
Oil City Boiler Works used a light machine gray. The South Penn cylinder was typically never painted, just covered in grease and oil. :-) Are you ready to start this one??? Give me a ring when you are... |

Bill, i have seen several Oil Cities with red paint on them, actually i have never seen an oil city steam frame pained gray, (this is just my opinion based on first hand viewing of engines in original condition.

It has been my understanding to that South Penn's were never painted. Just assembled and left as that. Karl
