Default R&V paint code

Hi Folks, Trying to find the correct color for an early R&V engine. The old Dupont Dulux paint is no longer available. This paint will be brushed on, so an Imron type paint won't be used. THANKS, Dwight

You could still color map a part that has the original paint. or if you have to rely upon a picture- if the picture's color renderings are accurate and correct, you can do the same with that too. Some people are better at it than others, and some people in the paint selling business have no idea what "color mapping" is.

Sikkens has a nice layout, the sheet has the colors stepped out, and you have a hole in the center of each color step. But everyone does it differently.

The good paint shops can mix that color mapped color to whatever paint type you are using- even an air dry "implement enamel". If they cannot, find a better company to do business with.
