I am building a boiler room in my back yard. Actually a boiler room and engine room. For steam power, I have a 150 H.P. Watrous locomotive boiler. I tried finding a suitable sized H.R.T but couldn't. Anyway, would someone have any pictures of a locomotive boiler used in a boiler room setup. I need a reference to see how I could build an authentic looking boier room using this type of boiler. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A cry for help that went un-answered! Contrary to popular belief, this guy is still around and still steaming. Perhaps a certain Mr. Searson has pix of the above gentleman's extensive collection of steam pumps, stationary motors, and bean cookery, all of which was very much in action late in the summer? Tim, you ate enough beans, but did you take any pictures?

JeffK - Yes, he is still steaming, and likely really steaming if he sees I have recurrected this ancient post!!!!!! But he is still looking to set up that boiler room and get that big Waterous boiler in place. That boiler is a dandy, would keep a fellow busy pitching coal!

You are right [G] that is some big boiler. We have a 150 horsepower Burnham high pressure boiler in one of our buildings at the lab and that is one large boiler. I could not imagine feeding it coal or wood all day long.
