Default Reynolds Corliss

Looking for original sales catalogs (or copies of same) showing the Reynolds Corliss steam engines, built by Edward P. Allis and Company. Our engine is an 85 hp with ten foot diameter, one piece flywheel. It is very early, with wooden lagging and a serial number of 118. We believe that it was made prior to 1880. Pictures of the retrieval can be found at the link below. Thanks, Joe

Fantastic article on the Corliss, Joe! Sure a "Professional" presentation and anyone who loves steam should spend thier "Quality Time" reading your account, along with the excellent photographs, concerning the saving of the Corliss. You are sure "Special" folks there at the Baraboo Show. Nothing stops you folks. Best to you all.--John
