Hello, I was wondering if someone might know what this governor belonged to, and what it is worth if I was to sell it. Please look at the picture, it stands around 14 inches tall, and heavy. Thanks, Fred C.

That is the top half of a waters governor used by many engine manufacturers. The valve body is missing. As often happens- it is easy for the someone to remove the top half from a scraped engine. The valve body removal might require a big pipe wrench. The value is probably $25 for parts in the real world or probably double on ebay.
