Today I located a rather large stationary steam engine------the fellow says he has a nice c-1860's Wood, Taber & Morse steamer (made in Eaton, NY,) He claims it is complete, indoors, in good shape, and the flywheel is off........says it weighs somewhere in the neighborhood of one or two tons without the flywheel.
It is for sale, and I am going to see it tomorrow (Monday Aug. 8th). I will take my camera - - and my checkbook - - so if you're at all interested, speak up now. |
