New Toy

Hi All, Went to an auction today. Engines went pretty high so I concentrated on an incomplete Delco. It went just beyond what I thought it was worth too. Came home empty handed? No, bought a very complete Homelite DC generator, 28.5 Volts, 70 Amps, 2000 Watts, serial # 43817. Trouble is, I have no idea where to start researching it, but if someone can point me in the right direction, I'm onto it! Thanks for any info or directions you might provide.
