Default New Toy

Hi All, Went to an auction today. Engines went pretty high so I concentrated on an incomplete Delco. It went just beyond what I thought it was worth too. Came home empty handed? No, bought a very complete Homelite DC generator, 28.5 Volts, 70 Amps, 2000 Watts, serial # 43817. Trouble is, I have no idea where to start researching it, but if someone can point me in the right direction, I'm onto it! Thanks for any info or directions you might provide. And thanks for the new site, Harry. Larry
