I have a 32v delco plant at home ade an a bit confused about it. I can't get it running. I huck up 3 12v batteries and I put a load on it but it won't run. any help would be greatly appreated. thank you. Corey

Corey, first, make sure your batteries are hooked up in series(plus on the first to minus on the second Etc.)Second hook up to the battery + and - terminals on your plant. Lift the starting switch and your plant should go. If it doesn't check the brushes and armature, to see if they are reasonably clean and that they move easily in the brush holders. After that try to clean the contacts on the starting switch. If the gen. is good it should turn. Make sure you unhook the battery before you mess with any of the electrics.
