WANTED KOHLER PART

Looking for a source for a water pump for the engine on a 1951 Kohler light plant or parts to rebuilt it. Kohler says parts are no longer available. This is for the little 4 cylinder engine with 2" bore. Thanks in advance!

If yours is the OHV engine, it will be the first I've ever heard of with a water pump. All the ones I've had and have seen were thermo-siphon. The larger flat head engines have water pumps, the smallest of which I can find lists a 2 3/8" bore. Where does the pump drive from?

Hi will, just going over some old web listings and came accross you question. I have the same problem and wonder if you got yours rebuilt and who did it!!!

if you have a l600 engine like my 2e22 kohler gen parts are available just 1 problem the org book numbers where changed in 1974 so lotts of the parts are available if you have the right number try part 240648 this is a repair kit cost is $62 i bought it last year. there is also another one in the book my book covers spec#0- 50
