Dear sirs,
I am refurbishing an old army surplus generator that has been on the family farm for years. It is powered by a Y-91 continental engine. The tag on the generator is a little tattered, but I can make out (W.------- & Sons.) 27 Amps @110 and 60 @ 220 RPM Rating 1800. I found a date of Aug. 1943 on some of the components. Would you know of anyone who may have some information concerning this unit. Please Help!! Thank You Sam Lindamood slindamo@sitestar.net |

About the only thing i can tell you is that "w.____ & sons" stands for W. D. Onan & sons. I think you should contact onan for more info also some other people on this board seem to know alot about these old generators maybe they can help.
