Onan diesel generator

I have an Onan diesel generator for which I need any kind of information. This is about a 2.5kw unit, single cylinder air cooled diesel. What I think is a casting date on the block says 6/56. This unit can be started by energizing the generator or by hand crank. Onan has no information on this unit.

Try www.perr.com and go to the tech fourm. But first make every effort to find a model # serial or any other info. There are a few Onan dealers on that list that will help with info but they need ###.

If the tags are missing, give a very accurate description in your first post, chances are they will be able to help.
