10KW Tactical Quiet Generator
Anybody familiar with the Tactical Quiet Generators the Services are using now? I recently ran across a like new 10kW, MEP-803A. It is skid mounted, fully enclosed, and weighs almost 1200 lbs. Onan model DN4M-1, 4 cycle, 22 horsepower, diesel, liquid cooled, 24VDC start. I ran it for just a few minutes, but was amazed at how quiet it actually is! What is the market for something like this? What should I offer? Has anyone bought one recently?

JBR I have found alot of these units as surplus to the state and county groups.Have had no real complaints from anyone.As for market value do not think there really is one.Jusy have to haggle on the price.
