Default Hobart welder parts.

I have an old Hobart Welder, probably 1940's vintage. Unfortunately I do not know the model number. It is a 300 amp DC welder and is powered by a Wisconsin V4 engine. One of the brushes on the exciter generator is broken. Does anybody know of a parts supplier for old Hobart welders?

When ITW bought Hobart Bros, they were forced to break the company up, and most of the heavy equipment line was sold to Thermal Dynamics. TD definitely ain't a helpful company. You might have luck posting a picture of the unit on http://www.hobartwelders.com/mboard/ and if you get really lucky, one of the factory people might help you.
