I am the owner of an early 6hp tank-cooled "Badger" gasoline engine, mfg. by C.P.& J. Lauson. It's a side-shaft, on it's original 4-wheel iron wagon, and I'm working on restoring it for shows next year. I'd like to know if anyone else out there has a tank-cooled 'Badger' like mine. I'd also like to know the correct colors of the engine, striping, and lettering. I have Wendell's red book and can get some idea of the lettering style (script) from that, but would like more detail. My engine is complete with original gas-tank (crescent-moon shape) and battery box/seat, but the cooling tank is missing. I need the exact size and dimensions of same. Thanks guys......CM
