I have a note here in my stuff that says B&S changed to straight fins at sn.27905. May be right, may not be.

I have an FH with SN 27700 with slant fins (March 1928) and another with SN 15370 (July 1927) that is straight fin. Of course I have no idea if the engines have the original shrouds on them. From the crud on the shrouds and serial number plates I don't think the plates were changed.
