Can anyone ID this little engine? It is about a foot long, missing many parts. crankcase is brass, cylinder is iron. Thanks!

May be an Evinrude row boat motor. I had one of those and it looks real similar. Do a search with google on Row boat motor and Rowboat motor..think you'll find some info there.

Looks like a Caile. Take a look at the pages in the link below. In the menu on the left look towards the bottom at the "Bantam" section. Feel free to e-mail me for more pics. I have a complete one. It may also have been a Caile "Liberty" drive outboard. Hope thie helps Erine
