Here's a pic of a table saw I found in a book I have. It is powered by a model Q Briggs, but is probably similiar to what you have. It is called the Safety Saw and was offered by D. W. Onan & Sons, Minneapolis, Minnesota, in about 1927. Hope this helps.

thanks for the great interest in this briggs fh saw rigg.if some one will send me their address i'll mail them some pictures of this thing and they can post pictures on harry site.what i can tell you is,the engine isn't stuck.the whole thing is rusty but not that bad, should be taken apart, cleaned and painted.the only thing that i can see that needs help is the kick starter gear on the engine, the teeth are very worn.i turned it over very little compression,i didn't get a spark, but i think it would make a nice piece wants its restored.i have never seen one like it at any shows like portland ind.thanks chuck

Chuck,
What you have sounds real neat, I have seen one with a Model F engine before at a show in New Hampshire.
Doug,
That engine is actually a Model FE Briggs with a gallon base, similar to an FH but is more rare that an FH. I wish I knew about It, I would have definitely bid on it. But with Ebay there is so much out there that can't you possible see it all even if you search every day In the same categories.

Jonathon,

I wasn' sure if it was an FH or FE. The FE's I've seen have had the similiar tank to an FI. I contacted the owner and asked if he would consider shipping the saw by freight but he was not willing or I would have been bidding. I did not want to ask for just the engine without the saw they've been together fo a long time and I would not want to be the one to split them up. I hope the new owner keeps it together as a display
