Byron, I can link you to my site, but I don't have much info on your engine up right now. In fact I haven't updated for a long time, but we will update soon. From the info you give your engine is a double main bearing single cylinder commonly refered to as a model 92. There were about 584,832 of this style Maytag engine built between September of 1927 and August of 1937. Maytag claimed to be the world's largest manufacturer of gasoline engines during that time. If you need any help or parts drop me a line. Tom

I had a fellow give me a Maytag Twin a couple of weeks ago. Some guys found it sticking out of the sand of the Brazos river here in Texas when the river was low. It's amazing how little corrision is on this engine. It even has the tin flywheel gaurd that I have never seen before.

It was too easy. Had to change plug and mix gas. What a Smoker. Byron

I have a C-1100 Clinton like that. It was very stuck when I bought it. It tipped over in the back of my Bronco on the way home. When I went to unload it it turned. What I thought was a parts motor turned out to be a good runner.
