I'll give this new forum a whirl!
I got a Sumter mag on a FBM headless "Z". Didn't have a starting crank until recently and always started it with a battery and coil and then switched it over to the mag. It would run all day like that. Now I got the crank (Thanks Gene!!) and I still can't start the thing! If I crank it as fast as I possibly can I might get a pop out of it, but it won't start. Everything seems to be in good shape. Would a magnet charge be the next logical step? Thanks, Harry, for all the hard work you put into this forum!! Mike |
