Default Need Help Locating Book with Case photos

Received this email today:

"I am looking for an antique tractor book that contained fold out photos of old tractors. My husband has several antique Case tractors and I am sure the book I am looking must have contained Case photos.
I purchased the book about 5 years ago but it has since been loaned and ultimately destroyed in a flood. No one here can remember the title or author although my husband thinks it might have "old iron" in the title. I have researched antique tractor books on the Internet but can't seem to find any that have the fold out pictures. Bookstores I have contacted are unable to help me without a title or author.
If you have seen this book and can supply me with the title I would be most grateful as I would like to replace the book for my husband for Christmas.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanking you in advance for your time and trouble."

Anyone know this book?

Kevin

Default Need Help Locating Book

Kevin,

Sounds a lot like a book that I have titled "The Gatefold Book of TRACTORS". 36 Superb Pull-Out Gatefolds. It has three Case tractors, 1925 Case 12-20, 1938 Case L, 1952 Case D. Photographs are by Mike Schram, Text by The Farm Museum, Intoduction by Stuart Gibbard. My copy has copyright date 1998 and was published by Prospero Books, a division of Chapters Inc., 90 Ronson Drive, Etobicoke, ON M9W 1C1

I don't know if the book is still in print but hope I've provided enough info that anyone interested can search the various sources for books.

Bill

Default Help locating bok

Did she say whether this was an OLD book or a more recent edition? I am thinking of a very old book, teens, that described all the tractors of the time and had a great many foldouts of tractor pics. I just can't recall the title OR author right now but a friend of mine has one and I FOUND it for him. The author was a very well known contemporary in the tractor and engine world.
Give me a day or two!!!!
