What is the serial number of your GP? I have a few parts but there is big difference between start and finish.

I don't like this format yet. I reckon It will get more comfortable in time.

Why is there such a huge difference in the asking price of GPs?

Why is there such a huge difference in the asking price of GPs?

The GP series underwent several changes over the 7 years they were in production, and there were different configurations of the series, some of which had a total production of less than 100. The 1928-1930 models are the most common. They had a 5 3/4" bore and exhaust out the flywheel side.
The 1931-1935 models are much less common. They use a 6"bore and the exhast is out the right (clutch) side. There were narrow front end versions called GP Wide Treads. These are even less common and bring a lot more money. There was a version of the GP wide tread made espescially for the potato farmers called the Model P. The GP wide tread was radically redisigned in 1932 and about 450 of the new wide treads were built before the Model A took over for them. This last GP wide tread looks a lot like a model A from the front except with a flat head, and from the back it looks like an F20 Farmall. There were also orchard versions built called GPOs, and there were even some GPO Crawlers. I have seen GP tractors in the last 15 years sell from $90 and $172,000.

Do you still have your GP Harry??
